1. LIC building

It is the sky scrapper built in chennai and a famous landmark in the city.It is the southern headquarters of Life Insurance Corporation of India. It is Architect by H.J Brown and L.C Moulin and it is developed by Coromandel Engineering Limited.

2. Express Avenue

The mall is built on a 10-acre site inside the historic Indian Express Estate and has four floors of retail space, a building for corporate offices and a hotel. Out of 10 acres, about 3.57 acres have been taken up by buildings.It is developed by Express Infrastructure Private Limited.

3. Madras High Court

From 1817 to 1862, the Supreme Court of Madras, the precursor to the present Madras High Court, was situated in a building opposite the Chennai Beach railway station. From 1862 to 1892, the High Court was also housed in that building. The present buildings were officially inaugurated on 12 July 1892, when the then Madras Governor, Beilby, Baron Wenlock, handed over the key to the then Chief Justice Sir Arthur Collins.

4. ITC Grand Chola Hotel

ITC started its Hotels division in Madras (Chennai) with their first hotel, the Chola Sheraton, which is now rebranded as My Fortune. In 2000, ITC Hotels Group bought the 8-acre land at the Campa Cola campus on Anna Salai for ₹ 800 million.
The hotel is built in South Indian temple architecture and has four entrances similar to the temples in South India, accordingly named as 'Vallavan' [North], 'Sembiyan' [East], 'Killi' [South], and 'Chola' [West]. There are 43 single bed room, 33 double bed room, and 2 triple bed room apartments


5. Fort St. George, India

The East India Company (EIC), which had entered India around 1600 for trading activities, had begun licensed trading at Surat, which was its initial bastion. However, to secure its trade lines and commercial interests in the spice trade, it felt the necessity of a port closer to the Malaccan Straits, and succeeded in purchasing a piece of coastal land, originally called Chennirayarpattinam or Channapatnam, where the Company began the construction of a harbour and a fort.
